Lynn is 345nm from Fiji, with a mere 700ish nm to go. Makara might start seeing from 14-18 knot winds off the starboard aft quarter through the next 12 hours. But then it is expected to swing to south and be on the nose for another day in the 15 knot region. As we get out further the south wind backs to the west and north west with some strength to push them along on another broad reach.

Exchanging texts with Lynn yesterday afternoon she reports the obvious - she loves it. “Bright moon and lots of stars” say it all.

They are 16 hours ahead of us so as. I write this its 10pm on the boat.

So nothing eventful to report. A good thing.
