Lynn is 465nm from her starting point in Fiji with about 650nm to go. Progress.

The wind right now is running about 13 knots straight from NZ, so they are close hauled. About 13nm before the image below they tacked, around 8pm their time, so two-ish hours ago.

Boat speed through the water is a solid 6.5 knots.

The current plot resembles Edvard Munch’s Scream or van Gough’s Starry Night.

Right now the current is their friend, pushing them toward the South, South East, toward NZ at .5 knots.

Waves are running about 5-6 feet from the south east, running with the wind, so they are head into those as well. Not a big deal.

Lynn reports the sailing are wonderful. Of course she does. ;-)
