Well the network called and they have decided to pass on making a reality TV show of Lynn’s Fiji to New Zealand passage - BORING they called it. Geesh.
Lynn touch land about 1312 Toronto time in NZ.
She then proceeded to enjoy several hours online and on the phone trying to change her flight home. Happily I was involved a a little less than half that time. Hotel California - you can check-in any time you like but you can never leave… In the end the answer was to cancel her AirCan existing flight altogether and buy a Quantas flight, taking the hit on the cancellation charge but nearly making it up on the lower cost replacement trip.
She is taking a scenic train from Auckland to Wellington - like our Rocky Mountain train, big windows you know - I think today. She will tourist further in Wellington and environs, then fly on this nice Quantas flight from Wellington to Auckland to Vancouver and then home. She will check bags in Wellington and never be burdened with them again - ever probably…
