2nd place

Terrible line - parallel to the prevailing wind. Pin zero favour, boat 100% favour.
The course was close hauled (strbd) and broach on port. #1 to #3
I had Lynn set the pole for a port side hoist - which worked perfectly. Rebel got messed up and too until half way down the reach before its spinnaker was up.
Lots of mistakes on Rebel’s part. Kited spinnaker at take down, pole in the water, lots of problems
We had our share too. I have to focus the crew’s attention on the sails and trim - the engines of the boat. After rounding the only thing that matters is trimming the sails.
Pole Up should be controlled at the mast not the pit. - we don’t have the crew hands for the communications.
Pole Mast track Cleats need be replaced. They released yesterday. New line as well.
