Schedule

  1. The Registration Desk will be open at BQYC on Friday, September 4, 2026 from 1700h to 1900h for Skippers to obtain dinner tickets and Race information.
  2. There will be a Welcoming Party at BQYC on Friday, September 4 at 1900h. Dinner will be available with pre-orders required. Dinner tickets will be available on the registration page with a deadline of August 29.
  3. There will be a Skipper’s meeting on Saturday, September 5, at 0900h on the BQYC front deck.
  4. The scheduled time of the first warning signal for the Katie Gray Trophy race will be 1000h.
  5. Awards for the Katie Gray Race, flying sail and white sail, will be presented in the PEYC dining hall on September 5 at 1930 hrs (Time may be adjusted based on fleet arrival)

Race Committee

VHF Channel 71 Must pass behind and hail RC An attention signal of 5 short blasts may be given about one minute before the initial warning signal for the race. Starting line for the Katie Gray race will be between the race committee flag on the race committee boat and Q54 or an orange mark

Course

  1. The starting line for the Katie Gray will be between the committee boat (Wally) anchored west of Q54 (red spar buoy off Meyer’s Pier) and Q54 mark positioned south of Meyer’s Pier and will end in Picton Bay between the committee boat and the ORANGE mark.
  2. All Racing boats must keep the following marks to Starboard. a. Q17, b. Q15, c. Q13 Foresters Island) Note: Mo(A) has been removed from the bay and is no longer a part of the course.
