Call “Tacking!”, steer the tack the trimmer called (power vs depth), hold a steady rate so roles can move; the whole crew hikes out of the roll. The cockpit pair swaps in one motion: Breaker releases and overhauls the old sheet, Trimmer draws in the new — while Mast and Bow drag the clew around the front of the mast a shade faster than the grind, so any hang-up is found and fixed before it jams the tack.
