Phase: The Douse | Owner (6-person): Bow at the hatch / squirrel support
The Bow gathers the kite through the forward hatch as it comes down; whoever is free at the moment (Pit or the spare hand) helps stuff it fast and untwisted down into the forepeak, clew corners organised for the next hoist. The difference between a 15-second drop and a 45-second catastrophe.
